The Red Crown of Stars is a series of courses designed to take the individual on a personal initiatory journey to empower them in the accomplishment of the Great Work. The Red Work Course Series were started by Fr. Rufus Opus, which he has certified me in to teach and pass the practice thereof.


There are three courses total, each corresponding with the first three phases of the four in the alchemical process. This allows for you to focus in on specific aspects of the process along a defined path so that not only will you be able to measure your progress but also share and learn with those that have experienced the same methods. Although the course outlines a lineated process, the work is individualized, personal, and does not dictate either strict belief or practice upon you. Instead it allows for you to better understand and develop both on your own.


There are four phases to the alchemical process of transforming yourself in the Great Work. These are the Black, White, Green, and Red Work respectively. The Red Crown of Stars series of courses outlines praxis for the accomplishment of the first three. The Red Work is the doing of the Great Work by individual and cannot be taught BUT once you have completed the other three you will not need to be taught how to undergo the Red Work since you will already be doing it.

Black Work


In the Black Work we learn about the basics of the initiatory process the courses use. The basics of Hermetic cosmology and the foundations of grimoire conjuration are taught. It is during this phase that the aspiring magician begins to integrate the praxis into their lives and undergoes the first of a succession of spirit and angelic initiations to incorporate into their sphere of influence.

White Work


The focus the White Work is upon attainment of the spiritual authority in order to successfully conjure. The course explores the different options that the magician has in this regards and leads them through the process of that attainment. The course will introduce the Supernatural Assistant, pacts, St. Cyprian of Antioch, and other relevant methods. It is during this course that the student is taught the basics of developing and maintaining spiritual relationships with a host of spirit allies.

Green Work


The Green Work provides the practicing magician with the knowledge and techniques necessary to achieve initiation into the Seven Planetary Heavens using conjuration, path-working, and dream work to attain and integrate the powers and forces of these spheres.
